It depends on what you want to enjoy in Hanoi. As for me, the autumn is the best time in Hanoi with wonderful weather, cool and just a little sunny. Spring is OK for travelling but sometimes it is rainy and humid. Summer and winter are the worst time to go to Hanoi, especially summer because it's very hot and also humid. In reality, summer becomes longer and winter is getting shorter. Autumn is from Oct to late Nov. Sometimes there are some changes (such as it's getting a little colder) but normally the temparature is about 20 to 30 C degree. If you want to go here in spring, the time before the Tet's holiday is the best time. Because the streets and Hanoi are full of flowers with different colours and many things else.
