I am Vietnamese and i have been in my country 10 years, until now , I am not sure about tip in some big restaurant, but almost time when you go to the restaurant in VN you no need to pay tip, that is ok if you want to pay , very nice.

It is not required, but is much appreciated. A 10% tip is a very good tip, more than they would get from the local population.

Bargain for everything. Every price they quote you is negotiable, from souvineers to clothes to hotels to food. All negotiable.
